Toskani TKN HA 3 Skin Booster
Toskani TKN HA3 Skin Booster is an injectable source of Hyaluronic acid, It has the highest molecular weight in the market (3.000 kDa) which is the most similar to the skin. As it has a large molecule the degradation of the product is slower and its effects last much longer providing a 'filler/ effect.
Toskani TKN HA 3 can be used on the face, neck, décolletage and hands to prevent and correct the signs of ageing providing elasticity and hydration to the skin and strengthens the skins barrier. It retains water and acts with the elastin and collagen present in the skin to provide a global action with greater durability due to its molecular structure. It is a great addition to fillers.
How it works -
It participates in wound healing which allows cells to migrate to the area being treated slowing down the ageing process, especially the formation of wrinkles. It maintains skin moisture as it retains up to 1000 times in weight in water, improving the moisture content in the skin and strengthening the skin barrier. It stimulates the production of collagen and improves the morphology of fibroblasts, provides a powerful nourishing action and has a lifting and firming effect on flaccid skin. On younger skin it has a preventative effect.
TKN HA 3 is injected into the deep dermis, up to 28 small injection sites will be in the area treated, depending on the size of area.
Recommended treatment options -
For a preventative treatment for those 25-35 yrs old and to bio-revitalise your skin if you are 40 yrs old or under - a treatment course of 1 treatment per month for 4 months, then a recommended maintenance treatment every 3 months.
For those over 40 yrs of age or older, smokers and those post menopausal, then a recommended course of 5 treatments spaced 2 weeks apart for each treatment and then for maintenance, a treatment of TKN HA 3 every 2 months.
If you want deep hydration then a course of 6 treatments, with 2 weeks between each treatment should be carried out. Then maintenance treatments can be booked every 2 months.
You can then add on a chemical peel or Meso-cocktail microneedling in between the maintenance treatments. Its also recommended to get a chemical peel before you begin your TKN journey.
What to expect after the treatment -
Immediately after treatment, it is likely there will be some small red raised weal in the treated area. This is a normal result of the injections. These symptoms are temporary and generally disappear within a few days but can stay up to 7 days in the case of TKN - in most cases there is nothing to see after just a few hours though you may be able to feel the injection sites as small bumps. This is normal.
Remember it can takes several weeks to have a an effect as it starts to draw in the hydration and reduce wrinkle effect.
